Founded in Rabat in 1994 by Carey Duncan, a landscape architect and urban planner educated in South Africa and the United States, Carey Duncan Design was among the first practices in Morocco to specialise exclusively in landscape architecture design and project supervision.
For more than 30 years, the practice has worked across a wide range of scales and project types, from private gardens to major public spaces, hospitality, residential and commercial developments, as well as large-scale landscape projects. Each project is approached in response to its particular context, climate, uses and identity. CDD has always chosen to remain an independent design practice, separate from landscape contracting. This independence allows us to support our clients from concept through to site supervision while safeguarding the quality and integrity of the design throughout the process.
Over the years, a multidisciplinary team has grown around the same approach: creating sustainable, functional landscapes that are firmly rooted in their context.
